Utilising the Russian MP16b transistor and D9K germanium diodes all NOS imported from Russia, the AZ-5r can produce a lovely smooth drive all the way through to a crunching overdrive enough to make your insides tremble.

Introducing the AZ-5, a version of the legendary Harmonic Percolator  utilising quality components including the vintage 2N404 Germanium transistor, made by Texas Instruments dating from the 1970's. PCBs are designed by myself and includes extra diode clipping circuits for added flexibility and range of nastyness!  Due to the nature of these components every pedal has its own unique sound, in part, to the varying characteristics of each transistor.  Also, every enclosure is one of a kind - again being finished by hand with attention to detail and design aesthetic.
